So, I was just walking in to work today and I look to my right and see the prettiest flower. It was purple with a lighter shade toward the middle of the flower. I started thinking about how I spend a lot of time thinking about things that I don’t have, or that went wrong… and forgetting to stop and appreciate what’s here. Something as small as a flower reminded me. Sometimes I forget to stop and appreciate all the beautiful things surrounding me. Be it that flower, nature, people, places, food… the list goes on.
Anyway… I made a mental note to undo my thinking pattern. For every negative thought I have, in its place, I have to remember something that makes me happy. Or think of someone that I love, or that food I like, or that flower I saw, and how I’m here, with my health and alive to appreciate it. 💕
